Lucca

Lucca

This charming town, a few kilometers away from Florence, is a stop that one cannot really miss in a classic itinerary to the discovery of the Tuscany region. The walls that surrounded the old town were extraordinarily maintained and the entire area is well taken care of with green grass and trees along the walls. The top attractions of Lucca include St. Martin's Cathedral, the Ducal Palace, the Piazza of San Michele with its beautiful Church of San Michele in Foro as well as the Clock Tower and Guinigi Tower to name just a few.

Pisa

Pisa

Pisa is universally considered an open-air museum. When visiting you may find yourself lost among the ivory splendor of Piazza dei Miracoli, a symbol of the wealth of the Maritime Republic of Pisa and the place where the four most evocative monuments of the city are located: the Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the famous Bell Tower, or Tower of Pisa.
